to announce that Gradlin Roy, MBBS, DNB, MCh, Consultant Cardiac surgeon, Saveetha Medical College, passed away after a . He was only 39. A bright surgeon who just started his independent practice recently. On the way to hospital for rounds last Saturday, had severe chest pain. Taken to ACS medical college, Chennai. Arrested at the Emergency department before taking ECG. CPR given for 1.5 hours. The Left Main Coronary Artery was found to be totally occluded on CAG. PTCA was done to the LAD. IABP was inserted. He was connected to ECMO and shifted to MGM hospital Chennai, had poor neurological status, poor LV function, on high inotropic supports, declared today. He leaves behind his wife and son.

#डायलिस #क्या आप जानते हैं डाइलिसिस के दौरान, खून को लाल वाली ट्यूब से बाहर निकाला जाता है , फिर dialysis मशीन से वो खून गुजरता है, और फिर नीली ट्यूब से उसे वापस शरीर में डाला जाता है…

इस प्रक्रिया को पूरा होने में चार घंटे लगते हैं और मरीज़ bed पे immobile रहता है.!

ये प्रोसीजर हफ़्ते में तीन बार होता है, इसका मतलब एक महीने में १२ बार, और हर बार ये चार घंटे लेता है, इसका मतलब अढ़तालीस घंटे…

जो लोग किडनी के किसी रोग से त्रस्त नहीं हैं, और जो स्वस्थ हैं उनके लिए उनकी किडनी ये काम बिना किसी परेशानी के दिन में छत्तीस बार करती है.

अगर आप इसे पढ़ रहे हैं तो , शराब पीना छोड़िए, प्रोसेस्ड फ़ूड ख़ाना छोड़िए, जंकी फ़्राई ख़ाना छोड़िए, अनावश्यक मीठा ख़ाना बंद कीजिए और सबसे ज़्यादा जरूरी hit the gym.

मुझे लगता है ये सारे विकल्प आपके लिए काफ़ी सस्ते और आसान होंगे.!
