World Osteoporosis day -October 20th celebrated in kurinji superspeciality Hospital by creating awareness for general public regarding the disease & how to prevent it . Selected Patients have undergone 1.Bone Mineral density assessment 2.Vitamin D3 assay 3. Serum calcium & Phosphorus 4Haemoglobin & Blood Glucose level . 60 patients were detected to have osteoporosis & osteopenia.We counselled them about treatment modalities , Lifestyle modifications & Dietary habits .
