We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Dr. Borges, an eminent histopathologist and academician.
Her legacy will live on through the generations she inspired.
A profound loss to the field of pathology.
May her soul rest in peace.

Deeply saddened to share the passing of Dr. Anita Borges, a true legend in pathology.

She was a pioneer who shaped the landscape of our field in India, making lasting contributions across many domains and inspiring generations of pathologists with her vision, scholarship, and leadership.

Her loss will be felt profoundly, but her legacy will continue to guide and uplift the discipline she so passionately served.

Heartfelt condolences to her family, colleagues, students, and the entire pathology community. May her soul rest in peace!!
