MyInsight Nutrition MyInsight is a mindfulness based lifestyle coaching program. We provide nutritional and fitness solutions. We focus on any habit(s) that is causing issues.

Habit Focus
---------------
Our program focuses on the individual's limiting factors. We work with the individual to remove those limiting factors so that the results sustain for longer and without much effort. Remember - Focusing on less helps you achieve more. That’s the mantra we follow. One habit at a time :-)



Customised Plans
-------------------------
Our program is customized and unique to each individual keeping in mind the limiting factors. We have plans for people who can't workout, people who travel, people who have allergies, people who have hormonal issues, etc. We have plans for athletes and we have plans for people with mobility issues. Remote Coaching
------------------------
If you workout with a coach for 1 hour, you still have 24-1=23 hours to go without the supervision of a coach. Things go crazy during these 23 hours. People slip and fall. We work remotely, so that we are with you during our and your active (non-sleeping) hours. You have the flexibility to learn, apply and question our approach from any location of this planet (where either the phone or internet works…else you are on your own :-) ). We will be in touch with you during your active hours so that your possibility of slipping reduces. We also have a weekly face-to-face meeting, in case the client wants it or the situation demands it

Re-Education
------------------
Many of us know a lot about nutrition. Many of us don't. Some know a lot about running, some know a lot about body-weight training, etc. However, we still feel that there is lot to learn. During the program we re-educate our clients about nutrition, exercise and recovery. Progress

Horse riding is very demanding on the body and mind. Being able to hold on to the horse, bear the jolts of the ride and jumps, and keep your nerves in check - all puts a heavy toll on the rider's body.

Hiba- our sweetheart - has been an equestrian athlete since her childhood. Her mom asked us to strength train Hiba to handle the demands of horse riding.
We slowly and steadily worked with Hiba to build her strength, mobility and recovery. Being a champ, she has been very dedicated to her strength training along with her horse riding. The results are for us to see. The sky is the limit, and Hiba will jump higher and higher. God Bless!

Lavanya, a mother, a consultant and a strong woman, reached out to us after having issues with her weight gain. She was finding it difficult to run due to her injuries, work pressure and managing 2 kids.
Initially she was hesitant but slowly opened up to the program. We slowly introduced her to the habits ensuring that the program does not add more stressors to her already stressful life. In the whole process, she learnt from us and yet, we also learnt from her. We are so glad that the program helped her transform herself while managing the stressors.

Ayushi is a very cheerful lady and an amazing baker. She now understands what is necessary to lead a healthier and happier life. She understands that as every diet-plan that has an expiration date, so does the benefits expire within a few weeks or months. But good nutrition and lifestyle habits are forever.

Most of us know that a chain is as strong as the weakest link. We think that all the other links are strong.

If we get injured, we might think that only that body part remains weak and the other body parts are still strong. That may not be the case. A weak body part, if not strengthened, can impact other body parts. This cascading effect can reduce the strength of the whole body.

We can improve our self-awareness and start working on fixing one body part after another or treat the body as a whole. It is upto us on what approach we chose.
Sometimes we may not be aware of the causes. Hence, it is better that we approach a physiotherapist or a doctor to help us figure out the root cause and also the fixes.

Don't wait. If you have any niggles or pain or reduced strength, seek out help.

Received this beautiful trophy in the morning 💞 Thought it was an Amazon parcel 😜 and didn't open it. My daughter opened it and what a surprise it was.
This run was special in many ways.
I was racing after a really long time.
It was my PB at this course by almost 3 min. The run was smooth. Had a party with my wonderful friends, many of whom also has their PBs.

Thank you for this lovely surprise and a very well managed event. This is one of my favourite event I look forward to running every year.

Managing issues such as cholesterol, blood sugar, insulin resistance, etc, does not mean we have to live a restricted life with extreme diets for the rest of your life. We can thrive to enjoy life to its fullest and not just survive while managing such issues.

Amit came to us with pretty high levels of cholesterol. Now he has managed to reduce and control it while enjoying his occasional mithais, masala chai and chats without counting calories.

Losing weight doesn’t have to mean extreme discipline, giving up on the food you love and spending hours working out. Gaurav is extremely disciplined when it comes to his work and his running workouts. However, gaps in his nutrition knowledge was preventing him from realizing his true potential.

His wife makes really yummy chocolates and cakes. In this wonderful environment, Gaurav needed help with building sustainable food habits, making smarter choices and education about good nutrition.

He now understands what is necessary for him to continue to making progress and lead a healthier & happier life.

Any diet that promises fat loss has 3 components
1. Some kind of restraint.
You may not be allowed to eat certain food groups like animal products, carbs, grains, sugar, etc. Examples of those diets are vegan diet, keto diet, GM diet.
You may not be allowed to eat during certain time period. Ex: Intermittent fasting
You may not be allowed to eat more than certain amount or calories. Ex: Weight watchers diet.

2. Plan to execute the above restraints. The plan would include removing non-allowed items from your kitchen, getting only allowed items into your kitchen, setting time periods for your diets or progressions into the diet, etc.

3. Adherence percentage that will determine how successful you are in carrying out. If you are only able to follow the diet for 1% of the time, you success in fat loss will be 1%. If you follow it 70% of the time, your success will be around 70%.

Real magic is to plan and adhere to restraints that will help you lead a fulfilled and satisfying life for the rest of your life.

We want to be leaner, stronger,healthier. It may not be in that order though.
Some of us, do few high effort high intensity work few days a week. Sometimes few days a month. And we expect our results to be as good as our last effort. We get disappointed when things don't turn up as we expected.
Many of us crash diet a few days or eating healthier the week days and then bingeing out on weekends.
Many of us put in 80 kms a week for a week or two and then expect to run faster than a person who puts in 80 kms through out the year.
Body does not take into consideration a few good days or a few bad days. It takes into consideration the averages.
A few bad days in dieting won't spoil our results, if we revert back to good nutrition in the other days of the week.
And a few bad days can really spoil the results, if those spoil the average of the whole week.

However, please remember to not take drastic steps to fix the averages.

Rome was not built in a day, but it was burnt in a night. Similarly, your body won't be built in a day. But if you put it through extreme loads, then it can crash.

We can bring greater control over our lives, transform ourselves into stronger human beings and be able to handle the consequences of positive and negative events in our lives.
With new behavior sciences and data, we can tweak our behaviors, environment and mental outlook to bring big and impactful transformations.
It all starts with intention to bring about control and change. Start small, gather momentum and drive towards your goal(s)
