World Hemophilia Day 2025 – Women and Girls Bleed Too
Observed on 17th April 2025, the Hematology Department of NRS Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata, organized a heartfelt and informative program to mark World Hemophilia Day, with this year’s powerful theme – "Women and Girls Bleed Too".
The program was held at the Academy Building Auditorium and aimed to raise awareness about bleeding disorders among women and girls – a topic often overlooked. It focused on the importance of early diagnosis, access to care, and breaking the stigma around women living with bleeding disorders.
