Psoriasis VS Eczema ….
⬇️⬇️
Eczema (Atopic Dermatitis):
•Cause: Triggered by allergens, irritants, or an overactive immune response.
•Appearance: Red, dry, inflamed skin; may crack or ooze.
•Itching: Very intense and constant.
•Common Sites: Folds of skin (elbows, knees, neck).
•Onset: Common in children, can occur at any age.
•Triggers: Soaps, dust, weather, food allergies, stress.

🌿 Psoriasis:
•Cause: Autoimmune condition causing rapid skin cell growth.
•Appearance: Thick, red patches with silvery-white scales.
•Itching: May itch or burn, usually less intense than eczema.
•Common Sites: Scalp, elbows, knees, lower back.
•Onset: Usually starts in adulthood (15–35 years). •Triggers: Stress, infections, cold weather, injury to skin

✅ Key Difference:
•Eczema is mainly about inflammation and itching from external or internal triggers.
•Psoriasis is an autoimmune condition with scaly, thickened skin due to rapid cell turnover.

22/06/2025

Gut health refers to the overall well-being of the digestive system, specifically the balance and function of the trillions of microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, viruses) that live in the gastrointestinal tract, collectively known as the gut microbiome. A healthy gut is crucial for digestion, nutrient absorption, immune function, and even mental health.

Signs of an unhealthy gut: ———
Digestive issues like bloating, gas, constipation, or diarrhea.
Skin issues like eczema or acne.
Frequent sugar cravings.
Mood swings or anxiety.
Difficulty sleeping.
Weakened immune system.

How to improve gut health:
Diet:
Eat a diverse range of whole foods: Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes for fiber and nutrients.
Limit processed foods, sugary drinks, and excessive alcohol: These can negatively impact the gut microbiome.
Incorporate fermented foods: Yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, and kimchi contain probiotics that can introduce beneficial bacteria.
Consider prebiotics: These are fibers that act as food for the beneficial bacteria in your gut.
Lifestyle:
Manage stress: Stress can disrupt gut health.
Get enough sleep: Lack of sleep can negatively affect the gut microbiome.
Stay hydrated: Water is essential for proper digestion and overall gut function.
Be mindful of antibiotic use: Antibiotics can disrupt the gut microbiome balance.

About Us

The modern science of medicines targets the symptoms rather than providing a permanent solution to the problem while Ayurveda works on the root level. Established in 1970 by Dr. Boolchand (Ayurvedic practitioner), Boolchand Ayurveda was a ‘one of its kind concept’ that provided treatments based on the ancient science of medicine, Ayurveda to its patients. The organization was taken further by Dr. Sadhu Ram Shastri and Dr. Naresh Kumar till the year 2008.

Currently, Boolchand Ayurveda is being run by the award winning Ayurveda practitioners Dr. Kushal Saini, BAMS, MD (Scholar in Rasa Shastra), Dr. Vikas Naresh, BAMS (Nadi Visheshagya), Dr. Neeru Saini, BAMS (Stri Rog Visheshagya/Gynecologist) and Dr. Pooja Sahni, BDS (Dental Surgery).
