The Commission for Social Communications of Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva, organized a ‘Cyber Fraud Awareness Talk’ for the parish community with the objective of creating awareness about the increasing risks associated with online crimes. The event was held on 7th September 2025, Sunday immediately after the 7:15 AM morning mass in the Church Portico and was attended by more than 200 parishioners. The overwhelming turnout reflected the community’s eagerness to learn how to protect themselves from digital fraud and related crimes.

The session was graced by Mr. Manjunath Marbad, Police Sub-Inspector of Shirva Police Station, who served as the Chief Guest.

The Catholic Sabha Shirva Unit celebrated ‘The Day of the Laity’ on 29-06-2025, following the 7:15 a.m. Mass. As part of the celebrations, they also observed Vanamahotsav and distributed saplings to the parishioners. Breakfast was served to all after the program. During the same event, the ICYM Shirva Unit released the poster of 15th edition of the Independence Cup Inter-Parish Football Tournament.
