On the occasion of World Prematurity Day 2025, the Department of Paediatric Physiotherapy, organized an engaging and knowledge-enriching Quiz Competition to spread awareness about prematurity and neonatal care.
With the theme “Every small step counts… every tiny heartbeat matters!”, the event aimed to highlight the challenges faced by preterm babies and the crucial role of early intervention and physiotherapy in improving their outcomes.
Students participated with great enthusiasm and demonstrated excellent teamwork and knowledge across topics such as prematurity, neonatal assessment, NICU care, and paediatric physiotherapy. The competition created a vibrant learning environment and encouraged students to deepen their clinical understanding.

The department appreciates the active involvement of all participants and faculty members who contributed to making the event successful.👶❤️

🧠 World Stroke Day 2025 Celebration 🧠

The Department of Neuro Physiotherapy at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam College of Physiotherapy, PIMS-DU, successfully hosted World Stroke Day on 29th October 2025. ✨

The event aimed to create awareness about stroke and educate students on its prevention, early recognition, and rehabilitation. The day featured insightful lectures delivered by faculty members and engaging activities coordinated by neuro physiotherapy residents, who played a key role in the smooth organisation of the event. 👩🏻‍⚕️👨🏻‍⚕️

A team of Sports Physiotherapy residents 💪🏻from Sports Physiotherapy Department of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam College of Physiotherapy, PIMS-DU, actively supported the State Level Wrestling Championship 2025-26 (Male & Female) at Trimurti Pawan Pratishthan, Newasa from September 14-16.✨
Amidst over 270 athletes, 🤼‍♀️🤼‍♂️the team assessed and managed 22 injuries, providing expert care, injury prevention, and on-ground support to ensure safe and optimal athletic performance 🎉🏆

Their contribution underscored the vital role of physiotherapy in competitive youth sports.

On the occasion of World Bioethics Day, the Department of Community Physiotherapy at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam College of Physiotherapy organized engaging Skit and Quiz Competitions for 4th BPT students.
The Quiz Competition showcased impressive participation, with the winners being Parth Thorat, Aditya Thete, Rucha Shah, Riya Bhutada, and Sneha Jorvekar. 🏆
The Skit presented by the postgraduate students beautifully highlighted the importance of ethical values and professional conduct in physiotherapy practice.

M.V.P. Physiotherapy College, Nashik, successfully hosted the HEAL 2025 – National Multidisciplinary Conference on Health Education and Adaptive Learning on September 26th and 27th, 2025.
We are proud to announce that Dr. Deepali N. Hande (PT) Professor and Head of the Department of Community Physiotherapy, was honored with the Best Teacher Award🏆in Physiotherapy category for her outstanding contributions to physiotherapy education. She is also authoring a forthcoming book titled Community Physiotherapy: Health, Function, and Inclusion the cover of which was officially launched during the conference by *Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor of MUHS, Nashik, Prof. Dr. Milind Nikunj.*
