So it seems we have crossed the 3000 Dialysis per month barrier this month (3099 to be precise) and it’s really a Herculean task to maintain such a huge centre...my job has been made easy by my staff who I see slogging long hours in the unit and doing more than what they are supposed to. I sincerely wish that it’s not just numbers but the lives of patients that we have made a difference in.

We have finally reached a total of 36 Dialysis units in the Advanced Kidney Care Centre in Anandaloke Hospital, Siliguri, making us not only the largest unit in North Bengal but one of the largest in the entire eastern India. We currently do around 2500 Dialysis sessions a month and it’s set to grow more after this expansion. I remember starting it with 4 to 5 beds in 2014 and we have grown since then. My staff have worked very hard over the years to help the unit scale all odds and reach where it has. Congratulations to my team and Anandaloke Hospital management!!

In continuation with the previous post we are proud to announce that our unit has been doing more than 2000 dialysis/month for the last few months. This reflects the prolonged survival of existing patients and the trust of new patients joining us which is supplemented by the hard work of all my staff. A unit of this scale has lots of shortcomings on which we are working hard. Thanks to all for enabling the unit to provide world class dialysis care to patients.

A great satisfaction after conducting the Dialysis CME for the third year in succession. Another good news for us is that we now have 25 dialysis units in our centre!!!

A proud moment for our unit.....we now have 20 dialysis units operating on double RO ultra pure water plant. This will soon be upgraded to 25 bedded unit in a months time. I never imagined that the level of kidney care could reach this level here. Thanks to the trust of our patients, hard work of my staff and support of the hospital management specially Dr Sushanta Roy. I hope we keep doing better!

Conducted a CME on Hepatitis B and C in dialysis patients for the dialysis technicians and nurses.....thanks Dr Nadeem for participating. I hope the participants learned some useful things.
