*Pulwama Police Executes High-Impact Anti-Drug Operation; Over 1 Kg Brown Sugar-Like Substance Worth Crores Seized, Two Major Peddlers Arrested*

1st Dec.````In a major strike against the narco–terror supply chain, Pulwama Police achieved a remarkable success today by arresting two drug peddlers and seizing a huge consignment of 1 kg 130 grams of brown sugar–like substance during a routine checking operation.

A vigilant police party of PP Rahmoo, while conducting a naka at Rahmoo Bridge, intercepted a suspicious Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK09D-7662. The swift response and professional action of the naka team led to the detention of the vehicle’s occupants, who were identified as 1. Muneer Ahmed Shiek, S/O Abdul Hameed Shiek, R/O Hajitra Karna 2. *TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 30-11-2025:-*
*NH-44 (NHW)*
From 28-11-2025, 1600 hrs. to 29-11-2025, 1600 hrs., there was slow movement observed on NH-44 due to single lane traffic at Balinalla, Dewal, Nashri-Dalwas and between Marog and Kishtwari Pather, in addition to the breakdown of 03 HMVs on NH-44.

*Passengers/LMVs operators are advised to prefer journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW during day time* . Please avoid journey during night hours as the movement of HMVs between Nashri tunnel and NAVYUG Tunnel may cause inconvenience to the commuters.

Commuters are advised to follow lane discipline; overtaking, wrong lane driving will cause congestion.

Subject to fair weather and better road conditions, *LMVs Passenger/HPSVs/Private Cars/HMVs (Good carrier) shall be allowed from both sides* on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44) viz from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa. TCU Jammu/Srinagar shall coordinate with TCU Ramban regarding the road condition.

*SFs Convoy Movement:-*
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, Security Forces vehicles shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44) viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa. They shall move after after confirming the status of NHW from TCU Ramban.

*Kishtwar- Sinthan- Anantnag NH-244:-*
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, after getting green signal from NHIDCL, only *LMVs shall be allowed from both sides* viz from Anantnag towards Kishtwar and vice- versa on Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag road. These vehicles shall be allowed *from PP Parana and PP Daksum between 1000 hrs. to 1500 hrs*.

*SSG ROAD*
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, (after getting green signal from the BRO) traffic movement shall be allowed on regulated manner on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road. LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Minamarg towards Srinagar at 0500 hrs. to 1000 hrs. Similarly, LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Sonamarg towards Kargil at 1130 hrs to 1730 hrs . No vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing.
SFs Convoy, plying from Srinagar to Kargil and vice versa shall plan their movement in such a manner so that Civil Traffic (both UP and DOWN) don't get disturbed.

*Mughal Road:-*
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, after getting green signal from Road maintenance agencies (GREF). LMVs Passenger/Private Cars shall be allowed from both sides viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa via Poonch. These vehicles shall be allowed from Behramgala (Baffliaz) between 0600 hrs. to 1730 hrs and from Herpora (shopian) between 0600 hrs and 1700 hrs as per advisory issued by District Magistrate Poonch vide No. DMP/J/9291-9318 dated 31-08-2025. However, *HMVs six tyres only* shall be allowed from Poonch towards Shopian. No HMV will be allowed from Shopian towards Mughal road . TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar will inform all concerned about the traffic advisory and cut off timings.

25th Foundation Day of Lok Janshakti Party Celebrated in Pampore

The Lok Janshakti Party today celebrated its 25th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm at the Pampore Sub-Division Office, where key office-bearers of the party along with several workers marked their presence.

The event was attended by Yasir Bhat, Vice President JKUT; Showket Ali Khan, General Secretary; G.M. Gulzar, President Kisan Morcha; and the State Secretary Nazir Ahmad, along with many other party workers.

*Hideout of JeM Busted in Awantipora; Terrorist Associate Arrested, Explosive Substance Recovered*

Awantipora 28 November 2025:

In a major success against the terror network , Police Awantipora along with security forces busted a terrorist hideout linked to the proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and arrested a terrorist associate involved in supporting terrorists.

Acting on credible input regarding the presence of terrorists in Naner Midoora, Awantipora Police , in a joint operation with 42 RR and 180 BN CRPF, launched a cordon and search operation in the area. During the search, one terrorist associate identified as Nazir Ahmed Ganai, S/O Abdul Aziz Ganai R/O Ganai Mohalla Nanar, affiliated with JeM, was apprehended.

During sustained questioning, and on his disclosure, a terrorist hideout located in the orchards belonging to the accused was uncovered and subsequently busted. From the hideout, security forces recovered 02 hand grenades, 01 detonator, and explosive-like material, all of which were seized for further analysis. The hideout was destroyed on the spot in the presence of an Executive Magistrate as per procedure.

It is pertinent to mention that the arrested terrorist associate has been actively involved in providing logistic support and facilitating transportation of arms and ammunition to JeM terrorists operating in the Tral and Awantipora areas of Police District Awantipora.

Accordingly a Case, FIR No. 257/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Awantipora, and further investigation has been initiated.

Police Awantipora remains committed to dismantling the terror ecosystem and ensuring peace and security in the Police District.

*Police Crack Theft Case Within 24 Hours in North Kashmir’s Sopore, Recover Stolen Property, Two Held*

Baramulla, Nov 25 : Sopore Police in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district have cracked a theft case within 24 hours after utensils were stolen from a house in Model Town, leading to the recovery of stolen property and the arrest of two accused individuals.

The case was registered after Police Post Bus Stand Sopore received a written application from Maqbool Rahman Beigh of Model Town, reporting that unknown persons had stolen utensils from his residence.

Police Station Sopore registered FIR 260 of 2025 under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and initiated investigations.

During the course of inquiry, multiple suspects were detained for questioning. One of them, identified as Shabir Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ab Hamid Sheikh of Model Town D, admitted to his involvement.

He informed investigators that part of the stolen material had been concealed at Cooperative Baagh Sopore, while some items had been sold. Acting on this input, police recovered the concealed property.

Further investigation led to the arrest of another accused, identified as Waseem Nabi Wani of Model Town D, who confessed to having received items stolen by Shabir Ahmad Sheikh.

Additional stolen utensils were subsequently recovered from his residence.

Police said further investigation is underway.

Jammu kashmir Apni Party senior Leader and incharge Pampore constituency Mir Altaf Ahmad Visits Bereaved Family in Androosa Pampore

Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party leader and incharge Pampore constituency Mir Altaf Ahmad today visited the residence of Ghulam Nabi Lone at Androosa Pampore to offer condolences on the demise of his son, Aijaz Ahmad Lone.

Aijaz Ahmad, who had met with an accident five months ago, had been under continuous medical supervision during this period. He passed away on 22-11-2025, leaving the family and the community in deep mourning.

Mir Altaf Ahmad paid homage to the departed soul and extended his heartfelt and deepest condolences to the bereaved family, praying for strength and patience for them to bear this irreparable loss.
