📢 *New WHO guideline on infertility care*

💔 Infertility affects *1 in 6 people* worldwide — yet in many places, treatment is too expensive, unsafe, or hard to access. In some countries, just *one IVF cycle can cost more than a family earns in a year*.

🌱 WHO is calling on all countries to make fertility care safer, fairer and more affordable. The new guideline includes *40 recommendations* to improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment — from simple fertility advice to IVF — all based on science and respectful care.

👉 Learn about fertility early: age, lifestyle, and untreated STIs all matter

👉 Seek care in trusted, accredited facilities

👉 Support policies that make fertility services part of national health coverage

HIV remains one of the world’s biggest health challenges.

*Here’s what you should know:*

🦠 HIV is a virus that attacks the body’s immune system and is spread from body fluids of an infected person.

🤒 Symptoms of HIV vary, some may have flu-like illness including fever, headache, rash and sore throat.

⚠️ AIDS occurs at the most advanced stage of HIV infection.

🌍 About 40.8 million people worldwide are living with HIV.

⚕️ While there’s no cure, HIV can be prevented and treated.

*Reduce the risk of HIV by:*

🛡️ Using condoms

🩸 Testing for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections

✂️ Choosing medical male circumcision

💉 Getting safe help if you inject and use drugs

💊 Taking pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) medicine as an additional prevention option
