Clarification on Viral News Regarding Registration of Imam Hussain (A.S.) Hospital

It has come to our notice that certain news and social media posts are circulating regarding the registration of Imam Hussain (A.S.) Hospital.

In this regard, it is clarified that the ownership of Imam Hussain (A.S.) Hospital lies entirely with the Imam Hussain (A.S.) Foundation, which is a registered public charitable trust. The hospital is not owned by any individual. However, for administrative and procedural purposes, the hospital is represented by an individual duly appointed and authorised by the Trust.

As far as the name of an individual appearing as “owner” in the registration certificate is concerned, it may be noted that the said person was the General Secretary of the Trust at the time of registration and had submitted the application on behalf of the Trust.

The copy of the online application form and the affidavit submitted along with it clearly indicate that the ownership of the hospital rests with the Trust and not with any individual.

The Foundation requests all concerned not to be misled by unverified or distorted information and to verify facts from the Trust before drawing any conclusions.
