Acute Stroke Management

Mechanical thrombectomy performed using the ‘Solumbra technique’, combining aspiration and stent retrieval for efficient clot removal and improved cerebral perfusion.

It was done via brachial route; when aortic arch (Type III arch with tortous anatomy) is extremely difficult to negotiate the neck vessel - when expereince of a NeuroIR doctor, dedicated cathlab staff with most advanced angiographic suite make it possible to do the case with optimum results.
