Diet during cancer treatment plays a supportive role, not a curative one.
A balanced diet with adequate protein, fruits, vegetables, and fluids helps the body cope better with treatment.
Avoid extreme diets and follow a plan guided by your doctor or nutrition expert.

Comment “DIET” to get the diet sheet in your DM.

Early detection can change everything.

When mouth cancer is diagnosed at Stage 1, it can often be treated with surgery alone, with faster recovery and lower cost.
But when diagnosis is delayed and the disease reaches Stage 3, treatment becomes more complex — requiring surgery, radiation therapy, higher expenses, and a longer recovery period.

In India, a large percentage of mouth cancer cases are still detected late, making awareness and timely medical consultation extremely important.

⚠️ Any persistent ulcer, pain, swelling, or change in the mouth should never be ignored.

Oral cancer treatment is never a one-person effort.
It’s a coordinated journey where surgeons, pathologists, oncologists, therapists, and rehabilitation experts work together — for one goal: the best outcome for the patient.

From accurate diagnosis to precise treatment planning and recovery support,
teamwork makes the real difference.

Because when care is connected,
results are stronger, safer, and more sustainable.

The thymus gland sits in the center of the chest, and when it develops a tumor, cancer, or enlarges in Myasthenia Gravis, a surgery called Thymectomy becomes necessary.

Earlier, this was done through a full open-chest approach.
But today, the same procedure can be performed using a Thoracoscopic (keyhole) technique — offering smaller incisions, less pain, and a quicker recovery.

Because Thymectomy is a rare and specialized surgery, choosing the right technique matters.

If you’ve been advised a Thymectomy, speak to your doctor about the minimally invasive Thoracoscopic option.

You may have recently seen in the news that AQI levels in Surat have increased.

Air pollution contains fine particles and toxic gases that can damage the lungs and increase the risk of lung cancer — even in people who do not smoke.

Air pollution is a silent risk factor we often ignore.

To protect yourself:
• Use masks when AQI is high
• Use air purifiers indoors
• Avoid outdoor activities during high-pollution hours

Awareness and prevention are the first steps toward protection.

Colon cancer isn’t just an “age-related” disease anymore.

Cases are rising in young adults due to unhealthy diets, low fibre intake, stress, late nights, and inactive lifestyles. These habits silently affect gut health and increase risk.

The right food, regular activity, and timely screening can help prevent it — at any age.

Awareness today can protect your tomorrow.

Modern cancer surgery doesn’t always require large cuts.
With advanced techniques like laparoscopy, abdominal operations can be performed using a camera—leading to smaller incisions, less pain, and faster recovery.

Similarly, thoracoscopic surgery allows us to treat thoracic tumors through tiny openings with excellent precision.

These minimally invasive approaches make even major chest and abdominal surgeries safer, smoother, and far more comfortable for patients.

Surgery is one of the most powerful and time-tested pillars of cancer treatment — and its impact on survival is far greater than most patients realise.

Nearly 60–70% of solid-tumour cancers require surgery at some point in their treatment.
And among them:

* Surgery alone cures many early-stage cancers.
* Surgery + chemotherapy improves outcomes in several aggressive cancers.
* Surgery + radiation offers some of the highest cure rates in head, neck, breast and gynecologic cancers.

In fact, for many early-stage cancers, timely surgery is the single biggest factor that improves life expectancy.

Some high-curability examples where surgery plays a key role include:

• Early breast cancer
• Colon & re**al cancers
• Thyroid cancers
• Early stomach cancer
• Kidney tumors
• Ovarian and uterine cancers
• Select lung cancers
• Soft tissue tumors

What this really means for patients:
Surgical oncology isn’t just about removing a tumor — it’s about giving someone a real second chance at life.
