Carbohydrates: 14 g

Metformin a commonly prescribed medicine for DIABETES can affect the absorption of an important vitamin known as Vitamin B12.
Prolonged us of metformin may interferes in the absorption of B12 in the gastrointestinal tract (GI Tract) leading to Vitamin B12 deficiency. Therefore regular checkup and intake of supplementation is needed who are on metformin tabs.
