Many of us confused... is conference a right place to buy..!?

One of our professional colleague, Dr A K Bhandari, from ludhiana, summed up nicely.

A Confrence is a place where you get worst prices for equipment
The companies have paid an X amount for stall charges and first they try to recover them in initial 5-10 deals they make.
In conference we have limited days to decide hence they are at uneven advantageous position in bargaining Even if you buy in conference close the deal on last day only
Dealers even mark you and follow where else you are going for purchases to keep a tab on you Such people employed by them don’t wear any badges and are not easily identifiable
Ideally just show an interest in product and walk away with your entry in their register
Let them come to your clinic Take at least 3 wks demo of all competitors
During demo note the year of manufacturing older the better but same configuration
Always remember conference is a place where we spend our precious time and money to get scammed happily.
