Surat Pediatric Association conducted BLS ( Basic Life Support ) course for Health Care Providers on 17 June 2018. Dr Snehal Desai was invited as a faculty to undertake the training. It was a very diverse cohort of pediatricians, gynaecologists, asesthetics, surgeons, opthalmologists and general practicioners taking part. The course was well appreciated for its meticulous planning and Hands On training with the help of manequins. A TOT ( Training of Trainers ) was also held with the purpose of taking this course to students , policemen and firefighters. Amruta hospital in association with Bhatar Ghod Dod Doctors Club conducted a very interesting Pediatric CME on 10 June 2018.
It was attended by over 100 doctors. The first talk taken by Dr Snehal Desai was "INTERPRETING FEVER " In today's era of high tech investigations how we can reach to a diagnosis based simply on the long forgotten art of "History Taking " was well elucited by Dr Snehal. Dr Kamlesh Parekh delivered a talk on a very common problem " Cough in Children " . His extensive years of experience was reflected in the various type of cough which he demonstrated and its diagnosis.
The CME was very well appreciated by all the attending doctors commenting that it was a very "Practical CME " and will certainly help them in managing their pediatric patients. . 2:- early dignosis of food infection.
3:- Debridement of the wound if needed
