Celebrating the Success of the 8th Annual Sri T.R. Thomas Memorial Creative Art Contest 🎨👁️
On November 16th, 2025, Nirmals Eye Hospital hosted the 8th edition of our annual creative art contest, and it was truly inspiring to witness 178 young minds express their creativity while learning about eye health and vision care.

Why We Do This:
As eye care professionals, we believe prevention begins with awareness. This annual event, held on the 3rd Sunday of November, allows us to:

✓ Educate the next generation about eye health, World Sight Day, and the importance of regular eye screening
✓ Detect potential vision problems early through free eye screenings for children and parents
✓ Create a platform where health awareness meets creativity and community engagement
✓ Honor the memory of our dad Sri T.R. Thomas while serving the community

This Year's Impact:

• 178 school children participated with remarkable enthusiasm
• Free comprehensive eye screening provided for all participants and their parents
• Distinguished jury of art educators and experienced artists evaluated the artwork
• Prize winners would received awards, cash prizes, and certificates
• Participating schools would be honored with trophies
• Media coverage by Sun News and Polvmér News, amplifying our vision health message

Happy to share the success of the 8th Annual Sri T.R. Thomas Memorial Creative Art Contest held on November 16th, 2025!

This year, we witnessed incredible creativity and enthusiasm from 178 school children who participated with remarkable passion. The event, conducted on the 3rd Sunday of November, commemorates three significant days: Children's Day (November 14th), World Diabetes Day, and World Sight Day.

Beyond celebrating artistic talent, we were privileged to provide free eye screening for all participating children and their parents, reinforcing our commitment to preventive eye care and community health.

The theme this year centered on vision awareness and eye health, allowing young minds to express their understanding through creative artwork.

A distinguished jury of art teachers, principals, and experienced artists evaluated the submissions, and prize winners would receive awards, cash prizes, and certificates during our public function. Participating schools would be honored with trophies for their active involvement.

A heartfelt thank you to all the schools who sent enthusiastic contingents, and to the parents whose support and active participation made this event truly special. Your trust in this initiative continues to inspire us year after year.
