How do you 3D print 600 pieces of a part in one go when your build plate only has enough room to accommodate 30?

You stack them one over the other with a gap of 0.2mm and go as high as your printer’s z-axis allows. Strong enough bond between the parts in a column during printing and yet they are easily separable in a snap when the printing is done.

PS: Works only with parts that have the same flat bottom and top surface profiles.

This is how we prototyped a batch of packaging inserts that we developed for Lenskart to safeguard eyewear frames from damage during transit inside their cases.

Born 22nd March, 2018.

Incorporated with a mission to invent, not just once but every single day, SID07 (pronounced "sidseven") Designs was founded by Siddarth Gupta on 22nd March, 2018 after finishing his masters in automotive engineering from the prestigious RWTH Aachen University, Germany.

We believe in bringing a sustainable positive change by making lives easier, healthier and happier.

We believe that in order to bring a really sustainable positive change in our world, we must support, assist and improve the lives of everyone and not just a few privileged ones and hence, with our work, we strive to impact the masses, especially the grassroots of the society.

We do that by identifying unstructured problems or pain points in the society and solving these problems through engineering.

Problems are filtered through a rigorous problem identification phase involving exhaustive primary customer research, market research, industry analysis and impact estimation and then solved through a harmonious collaboration of various fields of engineering and product development.

We make mechanical inventions and develop these inventions into market ready products.

We do not just slightly improve the already existing solutions, we disrupt them by developing completely novel physical products that are never seen, never heard and never done ever before.

Eleven Inventions. Three Patents Granted. One Patent Pending.

Till date we have made eleven inventions in the fields of automotive tooling, wearable technology for health and wellness, hydraulic pipes and fittings, dust extraction for hand held and bench top tooling, plastic waste management and bio waste management and more. One out of these inventions is patent pending and three are registered patents in India.
