Synapses Child Development Centre apart from catering to children with special needs with a complete child neurology, neurophysiology and rehabilitation set-up will also promote activities for normally developing children to realize their maximum potential. The word "synapses" in simple terms means the brain's wiring which maximally evolves only in the first few years of life and hence early childhood is the most important time in a person's life. Our vision is centered around developmentally appropriate and fun activities encouraging all children to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially.

It gives me immense pleasure to let everyone know that on 26th January this year we extended our services to beyond a child neurology and development centre,pediatric rehabilitation services, special school / school readiness program to now starting the first ever Day Care for Special Kids in Thane in association with Communicare. It was a long cherished dream which I had envisioned which finally is being realised !

It will in the real sense offer freedom to especially moms who are mostly the primary caregivers, to really take some of their time and life back for themselves knowing their kids are safely handled !

The Day Care was inaugurated by the dynamic writer,director and film maker Ms Rima Amrapurkar,daughter of popular film personality Late Shri Sadashiv Amrapurkar. Subjects related to women are close to her heart and amongst her several achievements, her short film on female feoticide, titled 'Jananee', is the first short film in Marathi to be screened at the 63rd Festival de Cannes.
