Resilient agriculture begins with informed decisions. When farmers have access to reliable and relevant insights, they can plan with greater confidence, optimizing inputs, anticipating risks, and preparing more effectively for each season.

Digital tools play a critical role in enabling this shift, supporting smarter resource use and more sustainable farming practices. By advancing smart farming solutions, Bayer is working toward a future where technology empowers farmers to grow more with less and strengthen resilience across the agri-food system.

Empowering the growers of our food is essential to building a more resilient and food-secure future for all.

The path to a sustainable food future is paved by farmer prosperity.

We're proud to share that Bayer has been recognized with the Sustainable Farmer Income Enhancement Award at the FICCI 5th Sustainable Agriculture Awards 2025 in the “Sustainable Farm Income Enhancement Program” category.

Through our Food Value Chain Model, we work end-to-end with farmers, connecting them with markets, enabling sustainable practices, and strengthening incomes through long-term collaboration across the ecosystem.

This recognition reinforces our commitment to scale sustainable innovation, deepen partnerships with growers across India, and build resilient food systems, for farmers, for consumers, and for the planet.

When 70% of India lives in rural areas but nearly 70% of healthcare stays in cities… the numbers don’t seem to add up. That’s the gap we're set out to bridge.

As part of our CSE initiatives, Bayer, through its , is bringing timely consultations, diagnoses, and care closer to those who need it the most.

And the result? An 86% improvement in healthcare access, a number that speaks louder than any promise.

The initiative was launched in 2022 with 28 centres across 8 states. Today, 12 centres across 3 states continue to operate, enabling specialty consultations for the communities.

In India, millions live with overlapping heart and kidney conditions [1] that often go undiagnosed, as routine tests may not detect early changes.

When the kidneys are under strain, the heart is directly affected, raising the risk of heart failure [2]. Unlike a heart attack, which occurs suddenly, heart failure is a chronic condition in which the heart cannot pump enough blood to meet the body’s requirements [3].

With up to 1.8 million new HFpEF/HFmrEF (heart failure with preserved and mildly reduced ejection fraction) cases diagnosed each year [4], addressing it becomes a critical priority.

We, at Bayer, are committed to expanding access to innovative therapies that reimagine cardiovascular and renal care, support healthy ageing, and improve patient outcomes.
