It's a proud moment for the entire nation as the Honourable Smt. dedicates the first indigenously developed CAR T cell ( genetically modified T cells targeted to kill cancer) to the nation. Developed by and Mumbai, this latest therapy is available to us now in about 10% of the cost in the West.
A true ode to Aatmanirbhar Bharat, this is going to be a boon to many cancer patients who are not responding to conventional therapy.
Was privileged to be invited and witness this historical moment .
