Vaidya is a US trained and qualified Critical Care Consultant . He has done fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at Little Rock, Arkansas & has worked as consultant Intensivist in Hays Medical centre, Kansas for four years. He will be available for treatment for all the patients admitted for Critical Care. The centre is manned with adequate qualified staff. These include (Critical Care Consultant), Emergency medicine trained doctors & qualified & experienced nurses. Critical care is required for all the serious accidents & emergencies. Hence HORIZON HOSPITAL will have Emergency room open 24x7. Emergencies may require minor treatment or major treatments. Those who are better with minor treatment will be discharged. These with major treatment may need admission for which hospital has complete infrastructure. It has state of art equipments like Puritan Bennett Ventilators, Phillips monitors & Ultrasound. Hence hospital can manage all the major as well as minor emergencies. Critical care & good nursing care is also important in high risk patients. Hence hospital includes spacious well equipped OT with AHU having fifteen air exchanges required as per international standards. Surgeons from Thane & surrounding area are welcome to operate their high risk patients for which HORIZON HOSPITAL will provide adequate post operative care.
