Athmareksh*tham
a saga of DEVAVIDYA

This is KALI YUGA.
Even while the general public is known to act with courage and selflessness at times of calamities – even disregarding one’s own safety and life – instances are not rare around us where people who were trusted and depended bared their fangs. In ATM counters, in solitary train journeys, in untimely bus journeys, in the form of other-states labourers – we have been reading incidents of rapes, murders, and violence. But we remain complacent thinking that it is happening to somebody somewhere. Living in fool’s paradise, we refuse to believe that it can happen to anyone anytime – including you. But once it happens, the loss will be tremendous, irreparable. The short self-defence training offered by DEVAVIDYA Gurukulam goes a long way in preventing such calamities visiting your dear ones.

Our country abounds in ancient occult sciences formulated by the Siddhars. The Marma science and martial art occupies a prestigious place among these secret sciences. While almost all martial arts require a robust body as its foundation, this Athmareksh*tham is well-suited for women and senior citizens also. And it helps children develop a strong body with a strong mind.

The Source, and Utility:
Sri Premnath hails from a family of centuries of traditional vaidya practice – located at Kottukal Village in Neyyattinkara Taluk of Kerala. His ancestor Sri Velutheril Kesavan Vaidyar was one of the physicians of the royal family of Travancore; and in the time of King Visakham Thirunal he was awarded a Veera Sringhala (an Award symbolized by a gold wristband). Even as a small boy, Sri Premnath started learning Kalari and yogavidya. And started learning siddha vaidyam at the age of 12. And he was introduced to the extremely secret Marma practices of ‘Naalu matra’ and ‘Bhim’s Way’ and the related body control at 15. And started teaching at 21. Disciples – including foreign nationals - now spread over 21 countries. To cater to the needs of people coming in search of knowledge and remedies for ailments, this successor of many renowned Vaidyas is now ready with an institution where the assistance of his disciples and co-workers is also available. For longer stay of students coming to this centre, free accommodation is provided.

Athmareksh*tham – a glimpse
Martial arts generally take years of learning, for perfection; whereas, this course – refined and condensed at many stages – takes only a few days to make you an adept in this art. A word to the parents. You spend lakhs of rupees to install cameras, and arrange conveyance and es**rt to your children – you spend money, time and effort and attention – you are prepared to go to any extent to ensure the safety of your dear ones. Why not fill this loophole also? Send them to this course that will remain with them lifelong as a formidable armour in this worsening world where danger lurks at every corner.
