*ABHINANDAN– A Salute to Our Veterans*
Precise Speciality Eye Care successfully hosted ABHINANDAN on Sunday, 25 January 2026, at SP Grand Days, Thiruvananthapuram, as a heartfelt tribute to our brave ex-servicemen and their families.
The programme commenced with a prayer and a solemn observance of silence in honour of the heroes who laid down their lives in service of the Nation.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Jayaram VR, Chairman, Precise Eye Care Hospital.The event was formally inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp and an inspiring inaugural address by Veteran SK Ajikumar, General Secretary, Kerala State Ex-Services League.
A key highlight of the event was the felicitation of ECHS Consultants and the honouring of senior Veterans, acknowledging their invaluable service and lifelong commitment to the country.
The following dedicated medical professionals were honoured for serving the veteran community: Col (Dr) N Girish Kumar (Retd), Wg Cdr (Dr) Annette Menezes (Retd), Dr Vidya Rajeevan, Lt Col (Dr) Sruti Bhasin (Retd), Dr Anusha K.
The event proudly honoured the following distinguished veterans from the Army, Navy, and Air Force: Lt Col PG Chandrasekharan Nair, Sqn Ldr GS Nair, Hony Lt A Sukumaran Nair, Hony Capt B Ramachandran Nair, Hony Capt Ramachandran Nair, Hony Lt K Rajasekharan Nair, MCPO EAP IP Ravindrakumar (Vet), Sub Prabhakaran Nair (Vet), CPO OS Radhakrishnan Nair (Vet), MECH (AL) 3P Thulasidaasan Pillai (Vet), Hav Ajith Prathapan Nair (Vet), Cpl Venu Vadakkedam (Vet).
The seminar sessions provided important updates on ECHS procedures, welfare schemes for veterans and dependentsCSD provisions and SPARSH delivered by distinguished speakers and welfare officials. Expert presentations on common eye diseases and their treatments were also conducted by senior consultants of Precise Eye Care Hospital – Dr. Jayaram V R, Dr. Kiran Gopalakrishnan and Dr. Juliana Rositta Stephen.
The programme concluded with felicitations by leaders of various veterans’ organisations, a vote of thanks, and the National Anthem.
ABHINANDAN stood as a meaningful platform for interaction, awareness, and gratitude—reaffirming our respect and commitment towards the veteran community.
