SUT Hospital The SUT Hospital was founded in 1987 and is the first Multi-Super Specialty Hospital in Kerala to offer over 30 specialized services.

The SUT School of Nursing commemorated the Lamp Lighting Ceremony of the 29th batch of GNM students on 30th January 2026, symbolising the students’ formal initiation into the nursing profession and its core values of compassion and service.

The programme featured the Presidential Address by Col. Rajeev Mannali, MD & CEO, SUT Hospital, Pattom. The ceremony was inaugurated by Mrs. Asha Narayanan, Deputy Registrar, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council, as the Chief Guest.

Felicitation addresses were delivered by Dr. Rajasekharan Nair, Mr. Radhakrishnan Nair, Mrs. Rachelamma Jacob Daniel, Mr. Rajeev T, and Mr. Anil Kumar V, adding depth and encouragement to the occasion.

The event was led by Prof. Nirmala L., Principal, SUT School of Nursing.

Our story

The SUT Hospital was founded in 1987 and is the first Multi-Super Specialty Hospital in Kerala to offer over 30 specialized services. 40 consultant doctors are currently available. There are 198 beds at present, We are progressing towards increasing the capacity of the hospital to 423 beds in order to offer better and enhanced services to a larger section of the population.

SUT Hospital Pattom has always been in the forefront and adopted newer medical technologies for achieving the best patient outcomes. We are closely looking at innovations in minimally invasive cardiac surgeries and valve replacements to reduce the length of patient stays and ensure a speedy recovery. SUT will witness several other path-breaking initiatives including the establishment of Renal Transplant Centre soon.
