As part of World Menopausal Day an awareness session was conducted for the employees of CCRAS- RARI Thiruvananthapuram.Dr Praveen Balakrishnan RO(Ay) co-ordinated the session.Dr Indu S RO (Ay) gave the introduction for the session and Dr Lisha S Raj RO(pathology) talked about the physical and psychological changes in women during menopause and the importance of early diagnosis and management of menopausal symptoms.

As a part of activities of WCH SCSP 2025-26 programe, a panel discussion with experts was held in a hybrid mode in the video conference room of this institute. Following experts were present:

1. Dr. Jyothi R, Professor, Department of Swasthavritta, Government Ayurveda College, Trivandrum,
2. Dr. Lekshmi MK, Associate Professor, Department of Kaumarabhrutya, Government Ayurveda College, Trivandrum,
3. Dr. P Krishnan Nair, Joint Secretary, Vivekanda Cultural Institution, Trivandrum,
4. CCRAS HQ team, and NIIMH team Hyderabad participated in the meeting virtually.

A productive brainstorming discussion session was held at CCRAS-RARI, Thiruvananthapuram on 09.10.25, focusing on collaborative research opportunities in Integrated Medicine. Prof. Jyotirmoy Chatterjee, Dean of JIS IASR and Retired Professor, IIT, Kharagpur, delivered an inspiring speech, setting the tone for a fruitful discussion.
