A case presentation on Linganāsha (Retinal Detachment) was delivered by Dr. Sharon and Dr. Arunima, House Surgeons, at CCRAS – RARI Trivandrum on 04.12.2025. Dr. Praveen Balakrishnan guided the session, and Dr. Krishna Rao provided the concluding remarks. The event was coordinated by Dr. Saniya C. K.

As part of the Constitution Day celebration themed “Hamara Samvidhan – Hamara Swabhiman,” CCRAS- Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Trivandrum observed the day on 26th November with due solemnity.

Dr. Saniya C. K., Research Officer (Ayurveda), addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance.

Dr. Praveen Balakrishnan, Research Officer (Ayurveda), spoke about the historical importance of November 26, the day on which the Constitution of India was adopted. He also administered the Constitution Pledge to all participants.

The event concluded with active participation from all the staff.

As part of the Sadaiva Aadal initiative, a World COPD Day was celebrated in the OPD premises on 20.11.2025.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Praveen Balakrishnan, Research Officer (Ay), who briefed about the ' Sadaiv Atal' program.

IEC materials related to Prameha were distributed to patients by Dr. Praveen Balakrishnan, RO (Ay), Dr. Saniya CK , RO (Ay), and Dr Alcina (SRF).

An awareness session on ‘Chronic Pulmonary Obstructive Disease's was handled by Dr. Alcina (SRF).

The programme sensitized patients on the importance of preventive and therapeutic measures of Ayurveda in COPD.

As part of the Sadaiva Aadal initiative, a World Toilet Day awareness programme was conducted in the OPD premises on 19.11.2025.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Indu S, Research Officer (Ay), who highlighted the importance of hygiene.

IEC materials related to Prameha were distributed to patients by Dr. Praveen Balakrishnan, RO (Ay), Dr. Indu S, RO (Ay), and Dr. Hadiya (HS).

An awareness session on ‘Sanitation, Hygiene, and the Sanitation Crisis’ was delivered by Dr. Hadiya (HS).

For IP patients, the Institute Social Worker, Kumary A. Suja, conducted an awareness session emphasizing the importance of keeping the hospital and its premises neat and clean. Ms. Niza, Ms. Saranya (Staff Nurse), and Dr. Saniya CK (RO Ay) were also present during the session.
