KARKADAKA CHIKITSA
Karkadaka chikitsa is practiced during the karkadaka masa(in Malayalam calendar) that is during the monsoon season. Monsoon is the time when the three doshas vatha, pitta, and kapha become unstable. These creates imbalance in the body which need to be taken out. If the imbalance stays in the body, it causes various diseases such as skin problems, fever, cough, cold, inflammatory condition and digestive problems.
Karkada chikitsa is a healing tradition that affects the physical, mental and spiritual health for prolonged well being. MYOPIC ASTIGMATISM

Astigmatism is a common and generally manageable imperfection in the curvature of eye that causes blurred vision (distant and near).It occurs when either the anterior surface (cornea) or the lens has mismatched curves.
Astigmatism is often present at birth and may occur in combination with nearsightedness or farsightedness.
SYMPTOMS
• Blurred or distorted vision
• Eye strain or discomfort
• Headache
• Squinting
Astigmatism may occur in combination with other refractive errors, which include:
Nearsightedness (myopia)
This occur when cornea is curved too much or eye is longer than normal.
Farsightedness (hyperopia)
This occur when cornea is curved too little or eye is shorter than normal.
