⭐️ TCM Diagnosis Time! ⭐️
Looking at the TCM Spleen functions, we need to ask questions accordingly, to differentiate patterns and make the right diagnosis.
Remember Earth is at the centre in the cosmological sequence of the 5 Elements, so it affects all other systems. Digestion is the centre of our health!
- Fatigue (mental or physical): SP Qi def.
- Can’t get out of bed on the morning: SP Qi def.
- Chronically exhausted with weak limbs: Sp Qi sinking.
- Bloated after meals, loose stools, craving sweets: SP Qi def. with dampness.
- Food sensitivities, poor appetite, not hungry for breakfast: Sp Qi deficiency.
- Constant hunger: ST Heat.

The Uterus in Chinese medicine:
🌸 The lower Dan Tian (the room of elixir) is located below the navel on the lower abdomen. It contains the room of Essence, which holds both the female reproductive organs (Zi Bao) and the male ones (Bao Jing).

🌸 The Uterus in TCM includes the physical organ, but also the cervix, fallopian tubes, ovaries and the entire female reproductive system.
🌸The Uterus regulates menstruation, conception and pregnancy.
🌸 It stores Blood for me**es, and the fetus during pregnancy.
🌸 It discharges Blood during me**es and assist in pushing the baby outpouring childbirth.
🌸 The menstruation cycle is an ebb and flow of Yin and Yang. The first half of the cycle there is an increase of Yin and Blood, and the second half there is an increase of Qi and Yang.

🌸 The Uterus depends on the TCM Kidneys and the Extraordinary Vessels to supply Essence. The Kidneys are the origin of me**es blood.
🌸 The Ren & Chong Vessels are closely related to the Uterus. The Ren provides Essence and the Chong provides Blood. The Du Vessel bring Yang to the Uterus for ovulation and releasing of the egg.
🌸 The TCM Heart also connects to the Uterus via the Uterus Vessel. It brings blood flow to the Uterus for good flowing menstruation, and emotional stability during the reproductive phase. If there’s long standing emotional stress, the Heart becomes deficient and amenorrhea, or menorrhagia can occur.
🌸 The TCM Spleen holds the blood within the blood vessels to prevent hemorrhage, and produces Blood assisting Kidneys.
🌸 The TCM Liver stores Blood for menstruation.
🌸 The TCM Stomach (via the Chong Vessel) turns me**es blood into milk for breast feeding.
