Abhyasam Abhyasam: Weaving ancient wisdom into modern lives

30/01/2026

A walk through history, landscape, and lived heritage.
On 18th January, Abhyasam organised a heritage walk to Kundrandar Kovil, with 35 participants coming together to observe, listen, sketch, and reflect.
From architectural details to the natural setting around the temple, the walk encouraged slow engagement and collective learning—reminding us that heritage reveals itself when we take the time to walk with it. 🏛️🌿

Heritage Tourism is more than visiting monuments.
It is about understanding who we are and where we come from.

On this National Tourism Day, Abhyasam reaffirms its commitment to making heritage an essential part of education, so young minds grow with cultural awareness, pride, and responsibility.

Let history be experienced, not memorised. 🏛️✨

When stone speaks, governance listens.

At Thiruverumbur, an inscription from the time of Rajaraja Chozhan records the appointment of an auditor to regulate temple assets and resolve disputes, proof that accountability and institutional clarity were integral to our history.

Our walk lead unpacks this powerful inscription, showing how heritage offers practical lessons for today’s world.

Proud to collaborate with in curating this initiative with Abhyasam, where inscriptions are read not as relics, but as messages for the future on leadership, transparency, and community responsibility.

Heritage remains relevant when we choose to listen.

Walking through history, learning beyond textbooks ✨

On 22 & 23 December, Abhyasam had the privilege of curating a heritage walk to Malayadipatti Temple Complex, the Jain Cavern, and the ancient burial site of Sengalur in collaboration with Brindavan Vidyalaya, for their Class 6 & 7 students.

Such immersive experiences help students connect classroom learning with real spaces, stories, and timelines - making history tangible, memorable, and meaningful.

We sincerely appreciate Vidyalaya for taking the initiative to offer experiential learning opportunities that nurture curiosity and cultural awareness among their students.

A special thanks to @லதா சரவணன் for sharing her thoughtful feedback and for accompanying the students through this enriching journey.

We look forward to continuing meaningful collaborations that bring heritage closer to young minds. 🌿
