**Successful Surgical Reconstruction of Chronic Left Acromioclavicular Joint Dislocation**

Two years old injury of the **left acromioclavicular (AC) joint**, which had been treated natively was presented to the Orthopaedic Department of srisakthihospital.org Tirunelveli City

After thorough clinical and radiological evaluation, the decision was made to proceed with **coracoclavicular sling reconstruction surgery**. The procedure involved anatomical reconstruction using the **semitendinosus autograft**, along with **augmentation using an artificial ligament** to ensure joint stability and optimize functional recovery.

The surgery was successfully performed by
Dr. S. Venkatesh Babu MCh Orth , FRCS, FACS assisted by
Dr. L. Muthuswamy and excellent anaesthesia with good pain control by
Dr. S. A. Rajkumar.

The postoperative recovery was good and patient is doing well
