Aster Volunteers & Aster Narayanadri Launch Advanced Mobile Medical Unit in Tirupati
Tirupati, February 16, 2026:
Aster Volunteers, the global CSR arm of Aster DM Healthcare, in collaboration with Aster Narayanadri Hospital, inaugurated a state-of-the-art Mobile Medical Unit to serve underserved communities in and around Tirupati. The unit was flagged off at the Tirupati Collectorate by Shri D. S. Venkateswar, IAS, District Collector & District Magistrate, Tirupati. This marks the 70th addition to Aster’s Global Mobile Medical Services Fleet.
On the occasion, the Collector expressed his appreciation, noting that the launch of the Mobile Medical Unit for the first time in Tirupati district would significantly benefit the community.
Dr. Azad Moopen, Founder Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to making quality healthcare accessible to all, especially by reaching marginalized populations at their doorstep.
The Mobile Medical Unit offers comprehensive services, including patient registration, doctor consultations, basic diagnostics, and free medicine distribution.
Dr. Sridhar Muni, Chief Operating Officer, shared that medical camps conducted through the unit will provide vitals check-up, random blood sugar, hemoglobin testing, ECG, Pap smear, eye screening, doctor consultation, and essential medications—bringing preventive and primary healthcare to rural and underserved areas.
The event was attended by senior district officials and Aster leadership, including the Joint Collector, District Revenue Officer, DM&HO Tirupati, Dr. Sunanda Kumar Reddy (Promoter), Dr. P. Pratima (CMS), and Mr. Rohan Franco (Head CSR, Aster India).
Through this initiative, Aster Volunteers and Aster Narayanadri Hospital once again demonstrated their commitment to equitable, timely, and preventive healthcare for all.
