Namaskar. The bridge built over Changda Nala on the way to Kailash Kund Dham has been damaged due to snowfall. Because of this, nomads and pilgrims will face problems in the upcoming days during the yatra.

Therefore, I appeal to the administration and our local MLAs — Chenani MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia ji and Ramnagar MLA Shri Sunil Bhardwaj ji — and PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh ji, to get this bridge rebuilt as soon as possible. This will ensure that the annual yatra to Kailash Kund Glacier from Baba Vasuki Nag, Dudu can take place smoothly in the coming days. Thank you."

Indian Army, Latti Coy successfully organised Latti Volleyball League – Season 1 (15–16 Apr 2026) to strengthen civil-military coordination, enhance outreach to remote areas, and engage youth through sports and physical fitness.
10 teams from Sudhmahadev to Basantgarh participated. The event was flagged off by the Principal, GMS Bandhole, and witnessed the presence of DSP Latti, civil administration, Sarpanches, and ~500 locals.
The initiative reinforced trust, strengthened coordination with civil stakeholders, and promoted a spirit of unity and sportsmanship in the region.

Daughter of Latti village, daughter of Jor Singh ji, Neelam Devi has truly done something amazing. By *winning the Under-17 Boxing Championship held in Nagpur, Maharashtra*, she has brought pride not just to Latti, but to the entire *Udhampur district and Jammu & Kashmir*.

This is a moment of pride for the whole region. When daughters from the mountains step into the ring, they create history. Heartfelt congratulations to the people of Latti and to Neelam’s family.

Former Sarpanch Makhan Singh Manhas, Panchayat Sira A, Tehsil Latti, District Udhampur, spoke about the lack of revenue records. Latha massbi He said the last settlement took place nearly 100 years ago during the time of Raja Maharaja Ji, and there has been no significant change since then.
He stressed the urgent need for a new settlement, as simply digitizing or recording revenue online without updating the ground realities does not provide any real benefit to the public. He urged the concerned authorities to take immediate steps for a comprehensive settlement to resolve the people's problems.
