We try to achieve our vision by providing the highest quality eye care service which will be provided by Optometry Professionals having a minimum qualification of Bachelor of Clinical Optometry. Also we house the Optical products which include the value products and premium brands which cater to one and all by the method of COSMETIC and SCIENTIFIC dispensing methods. Clinical Service:
Comprehensive eye examination is provided at Eye-Tone starting with a complete history taking and followed by checking the refractive status, measuring the Intra ocular pressure, and screening for eye diseases, refractive errors. Computer Vision Clinic: Many individuals experience eye discomfort and vision problems when viewing a computer screen for extended periods. The level of discomfort appears to increase with the amount of computer use. Optometry professionals trained in this field will be looking after you and provide the best eye care which include the visual ergonomics and not just the spectacles and contact lenses.
2. Low Vision Clinic: A person with low vision is one who has impairment of visual functioning even after treatment by standard correction and has a best corrected visual acuity of 6/18 to light perception or visual field less than 10 degree from the point of fixation. In simple words it means that the person is unable to see objects (recognizing person’s face) beyond maximum of 3m and / or people those who have side vision difficulty. Macular degeneration, Diabetic retinopathy, Glaucoma, Corneal diseases, Cataract, etc are some of the common causes for low vision. As such patients don’t improve with conventional spectacles or contact lenses or any surgeries to the eye, they need to be handled in a specific manner and be given specific aids.
3. Contact Len Clinic: Advances in contact lens technology have created great options for contact lenses. We do not practice contact lenses by looking at your spectacle prescription. To provide contact lenses, certain tests are mandatory failing which the patient may have serious complication of even losing his eyes. Hence we perform contact lens trials before we prescribe. We also provide Cosmetic and prosthetic lenses and rose-k lenses. Custom contact lenses can be created to camouflage any color variation or irregularity and produce a natural eye color. Besides Specialized contact lenses, such as bifocal contact lenses are also available for patients who are over 40years.
