Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common disorder that affects the large intestine (colon). The common causes of IBS are cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, gas, diarrhoea and constipation. It is a chronic condition and take a long time to cure.
Only a small number of people with irritable bowel syndrome have severe signs and symptoms. Some people can control their symptoms by managing diet, lifestyle and stress. Others will need medication and counselling.

আসুন আজ আলোকপাত করা যাক আয়ুর্বেদ চিকিৎসার সাথে অন্য pathy মানে Allopathic ও Homoeo pathic ঔষধ সেবন করা কতটা যুক্তিযুক্ত।

চলতি ধারণা রয়েছে অন্য কোন ঔষধ সেবনের সময় আয়ুর্বেদিক ঔষধ সেবন করলে কার্যকারিতা থাকে না। বা অন্য কোন প্যাথির ঔষধ খেলে আয়ুর্বেদিক চিকিৎসায় যথাযথ ফল পাওয়া যায় না।

Shastikshali pinda sweda/Kizhi/ Navarakizhi:

Inducing perspiration by using heated round packs or bolus of rice is referred as ‘Shashtikashali pinda sweda or kizhi, also popularly known as Navarakizhi. This is an easy and effective procedure of sudation. Kizhi strengthens muscles and improves nerve conduction. It enhances the smoothness and lusture of the skin.

Procedure:

Rice bolus is boiled in decoction of sida cordifolia and milk and tied in pieces of cloth to prepare packs.Warm rice pack is applied to the body and there by inducing sudation(sweat).

Benefits:

1) It has proven efficacy and indicated in muscular disorders, neurological disorders, emaciation and blood related problems.
