A meeting to explore collaborative research projects was held with Prof. Deepak Saini, Department of Biological Sciences, IISc, Bengaluru on 26th December 2025. Dr. Kousthubha Upadhyaya, Adviser, Ayurveda, Ministry of Ayush, Dr. N Srikanth, DDG, CCRAS , Dr. Sulochana Bhat and Dr. Shubhashree from CARI Bengaluru were present.

The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) launched the Ayurveda Gyan Naipunya Initiative (AGNI 3.0) on 1st December 2025. The initiative aims to mainstream pragmatic Ayurvedic practices through scientific validation and an evidence-based approach.

CARI participated in Diabetes screening camp at Samatvam diabetic centre, Bengaluru on the occasion of World Diabetes Day

To commemorate World Diabetes day on 14th Nov, 2025,a special programme “Madhumeha Vimarsha” was organised at CARI, Bengaluru. Dr.Sulochana Bhat, Head of the Institute, in her inaugural address gave a bird’s eye view of the ongoing research, clinical work and outreach initiatives taken up by the institute in the area of Diabetes. Prof. Dr G. G. Gangadharan, Former Director, RISA Hospital, Bengaluru and Dr. Nagesh L., Retd. Professor Emeritus, Research and Development, DSCDS, Bengaluru were the guest speakers. Staff and students of Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic sciences and research and Hillside Ayurveda Medical college and hospital participated in the event along with Officers and Staff of CARI, Bengaluru.

Training program on “iGOT Karmayogi” was successfully conducted at CARI, Bengaluru by master trainers Dr.Shiddamallayya and Mr.Noushad Ahmed, CCRAS headquarters on 10.11.2025. All the regular employees participated in the training program.

As part of the Vigilance Awareness Programme, a talk was delivered by Mr. Kumar Prasad, Chartered Accountant, on 31st October 2025. The guest speaker engaged the audience with an insightful session on personal finance and methods to prevent financial frauds, illustrating his points through real-life anecdotes and incidents.
