A wheel of life !! 💫
One of the simple looking yet the most effective asana for the spine - yes , chakrasana.✌️
Its a challenging and deep backbend pose with pushing the feet and palms against the floor and navel reaches towards the sky.
•It requires strength and spinal flexibility .
•Wheel has effect on the whole personality. •Abdomen and chest become more flexible.
•Lung capacity is increased.

And yes
Stretch should be observed with conscious normal breathing.

But always make sure that you are taking a relaxed approach and not punching your self to the max. Unlike other inversions , which are heating to the body , the shoulderstand has a cooling effect.🆗

Benefits :

1. It aids digestion
2. Helps to relieve swollen legs
3. Stimulates the thyroid glands
4. Helps to calm headache
5. Improves the circulation the upper body and brain.
Caution :
1. Neck or back injury
2. High blood pressure

I know I know...coming up with almost a month with a vacation break. But all I need is to get upside down , flip my perspective and remind my self that I need to take care of my self too now.
You just can’t give up , you have to cut the excuses and keep trying/practising/pursuing whatever it is. Whether that be a yoga pose or anything else in life
So commit to atleast 5 mins of yoga everyday , yes 5 minutes. And you never know somedays those 5 min can turn into an hour. This is how I motivate myself to practice daily , how I find the time.✅
So start now , Start from where you are ,Start with fear , Start with pain , Start with hand shaking, Start with voice trembling but Start. 🙏✔️

This surely has to be every yogi’s favourite day. When you practice yoga , you start to focus on your behaviour . You begin to cultivate self discipline and develop spiritual practices. You start to focus on your breath and concentrate on your postures. And you begin to feel some connection. In short it enriches your mind , body and spirit

• Bridge is a great pose for working on your lower back strength, and is the basis for progressing to wheel pose.🧘🏻‍♀️

Setu Bandha Sarvangasana or Bridge Pose is beginning backbend posture that makes the body look like a bridge, when practiced.

-Bridge focuses on the neck and shoulders and in women, the uterus.
- The chest, neck and spine are stretched, while the abdominal organs, lungs and thyroid are stimulated.
- The pose can also alleviate stress, improve digestion and rejuvenate tired legs.

bridge pose on periodic basis can help counteract stress that is related to sitting for longer durations.

The king of the season is here! The only reason why we look forward to summer is because of the yummy finger licking MANGOEEEEEEES! Be it aam ras , dessert or just the fruit itself, we cannot get enough of it! 🍋 As we all know, the only good thing about the hot, sweaty Indian summers are the luscious mangoes.
