Another accolade for the Shalya Ta**ra Department, PIA
There is nothing more satisfying in the world for a doctor than witnessing a happy smile with gratitude on his/her patient's face.
This 69-year-old Mumbai-based patient visited Parul Ayurved Hospital in June 2023 with complaints of recurrent Fistula in Ano. He had been suffering from a fistula in Ano for more than 3 years. When he first visited Parul Ayurved Hospital, he had already undergone fistulectomy more than 3 times at reputable hospitals in India. But the fistula recurred each time. After careful examination, it was found that a blind track was missed which was most likely the reason for recurrence. Dr. Pariksh*t Shirode and Team Shalya Ta**ra treated this challenging case with partial fistulectomy, Kshara Sutra ligation and vrana dhoopan successfully with the valiant efforts of Shalya Ta**ra PG scholars, especially Dr. Deep Prajapati, Dr. Megha Jadav, Dr. Imran Nadaf, Dr. Milan Patel, Dr. Vikas Patel, Dr. Vishnupriya Prasad, Dr. Viraj Vyas, Dr. Dhanik, Dr. Harsh, Dr. Vijay, Dr. Niket Gami, Dr. Karan and Dr. Mukund. After 8 months of thorough follow-up, the patient re-visited Parul Ayurved Hospital OPD today with another patient in his relation.
Now he has achieved full recovery from the illness and his smile is back 😊.
