😩 Ever noticed how your pimples always show up right before a big day?
It’s not just bad luck — it's your skin trying to tell you something.

Here’s a fun fact 👇🏼

🔬 Hormonal shifts, excess oil production, and even stress can trigger breakouts — especially around the jawline, cheeks, and forehead.

And guess what?

Your diet 🥤🍕 and sleep cycle 💤 play a massive role too.
Too much sugar, dairy, or lack of rest? Your skin’s not a fan. 😒

🌿 The best way to handle it?
Know your triggers. Treat your skin gently. And get expert guidance when needed.

Because real skincare starts with real awareness. 💡✨

On 18th May 2025, Isha Hospital, in collaboration with the Menopause Society Vadodara, hosted a distinguished Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on Aesthetic, Functional, and Regenerative Gynaecology, commemorating Mother’s Day.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the many respected doctors and healthcare professionals who actively participated and enriched the discussions with their expertise.

Your commitment to advancing women’s healthcare through continuous learning is truly inspiring.

Together, we are shaping the future of gynaecology — embracing innovation, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing quality of life.

Thank you for being an essential part of this journey.

“Is my toddler just quiet… or is it something more?”
Many parents ask this. And the truth is — every child develops at their own pace.
But knowing what to watch for can help you support them better.

🔍 Autism isn’t always easy to recognize in the early years.
Some children may avoid eye contact or not respond to their name. Others may speak later than expected or repeat the same actions often.

💡 What many don’t realize:
Sensory sensitivities — like being overwhelmed by loud sounds or bright lights — are also common early signs but often missed.

🧠 Early detection means earlier access to therapies like speech therapy, behavior therapy, and structured play, which can make a meaningful difference.

And no — it’s not about labels.
It’s about understanding how your child sees and experiences the world — so you can guide them with patience and care.

🩺 If you’ve noticed any signs or just feel unsure, talking to a pediatrician is the best first step.

You’re not alone. And support is always available.

Why does my baby keep hiccuping after feeding? Should I worry?
The short answer: usually, no. Baby hiccups are a natural part of development.

But here’s something new most parents don’t know 👇
Hiccups can sometimes be triggered by feeding too quickly, swallowing air, or even a sudden change in temperature.

And while they’re harmless in most cases, here’s what you can do to reduce them:

🍼 Burp your baby during and after feeds – it helps release trapped air from the stomach.
🍼 Hold your baby upright for 20–30 minutes after feeding – this helps digestion.
🍼 Use paced feeding – especially for bottle-fed babies, to avoid rapid gulping.

✨ If the hiccups don’t seem to bother your baby, they’re usually nothing to stress about.
But if they happen very frequently, interfere with feeding, or are accompanied by vomiting or discomfort, it’s a good idea to speak with your pediatrician.

Why does your sweet tooth sometimes lead to tooth sensitivity and pain? 🍭🦷

It’s not just the sugar — it’s also how those sweet treats affect the delicate balance of your mouth’s ecosystem.

When you enjoy sugary snacks, the bacteria in your mouth become more active, producing acids that gradually wear down the protective enamel on your teeth. Over time, this can cause sensitivity, discomfort, and even cavities.

But did you know?
Frequent snacking without proper oral hygiene can disrupt saliva flow, which is your mouth’s natural defense against acids and bacteria. Saliva helps neutralize acids and wash away food particles — so less saliva means higher risk for decay.

Here’s a bonus tip:
Chewing sugar-free gum after meals stimulates saliva production, helping protect your teeth naturally.

Remember, sweet snacks can be enjoyed — just keep your oral care routine consistent. Brush well, floss daily, and visit your dentist regularly for checkups.

Your heart listens to your mouth more than you think.
We often treat bleeding gums or persistent bad breath as minor issues.
But inside your mouth, chronic gum inflammation can quietly trigger a chain reaction that affects your heart.

🦷 When harmful bacteria enter through inflamed gums, they don’t always stay in the mouth.
Some of them may travel through the bloodstream — potentially contributing to plaque buildup in arteries or even infections like endocarditis.

And it’s not just about heart disease.
Untreated gum disease has also been linked to increased stroke risk and poor blood vessel health.

🩺 The good news? These risks are manageable with simple, consistent care:
✔️ Brush twice a day
✔️ Floss daily
✔️ Schedule regular dental visits — even if nothing hurts

Because a healthy smile might just help protect a healthy heart.

“Can chemotherapy affect your immune system?”

Yes — but it’s a known and manageable effect.

Chemotherapy targets rapidly growing cells to control the spread of cancer. In the process, it can also affect some healthy cells — including those in your bone marrow, where many immune cells are made.

🩺 This may temporarily lower your body’s ability to fight infections, which is why regular monitoring and supportive care during treatment are essential.

What may help:
✅ Adequate rest
✅ Staying well-hydrated
✅ Including nourishing foods in your meals

📌 Every person responds to treatment differently. If you're undergoing chemotherapy or supporting someone who is, it’s important to stay informed and consult your treating oncologist for guidance.

“Are all breast lumps cancer?”

Not always — but they should never be ignored.
A breast lump can be benign (non-cancerous) or something that needs medical attention.
And only a qualified doctor can confirm the cause.

✨ Let’s imagine Meera, a 34-year-old woman who discovered a lump during a routine self-exam.
She didn’t panic. She chose to consult her doctor.

Early evaluation helped her get the answers she needed — without fear, and without delay.

✅ Regular self-checks
✅ Timely consultations
✅ Trusting your doctor

These small steps can go a long way in ensuring your breast health.

📍At Isha Hospital, Vadodara, our team encourages every woman to stay informed and take preventive action.

🩺 If you ever notice changes in your breast, speak with a healthcare professional.
Because awareness, not assumption, leads to the right treatment.
