“Don’t take life for granted. Wear a helmet.” A 16-year-old boy met with a severe road traffic accident, sustaining a serious head injury diagnosed as Diffuse Axonal Injury (DAI). He was admitted in a critical condition, with low GCS and under sedation, requiring intensive and immediate care.

With timely multidisciplinary treatment, advanced care ( services under and departments), and structured rehabilitation at , Atladara, his journey took a hopeful turn. Today, he is walking back home with minimal support - a powerful example of resilience, medical expertise, and teamwork.

What makes this recovery even more meaningful is that the young survivor himself is now advising others to wear helmets, spreading awareness to prevent severe and life-altering head injuries.
