On this longest day of the year, when the sun is at its peak, our energy centers—our chakras - are more open to alignment and balance. ☀️💫 Sound vibrations work deeply with the nervous system, helping to release stagnant energy, clear emotional blockages, and realign our energetic body.

Jalneti practice cleans the nasal passage as well as the throat. It cleans the pollutants from the nose thus helps supply more oxygen to the whole body and enhances the functioning of the nostrils and brain cells. It has a relaxing effect on the mind and may reduce snoring at night. Doing it once a week will strengthen your respiratory system. Don’t do Jalneti if you suffer from chronic bleeding from the nose. Make sure the water is Luke warm, use rock salt and the water should be salty like tears when you cry. Sterilise your Neti pot with hot water before each use.

Ek Pada Vrikshasana (One Legged Tree Pose) helps rejuvenate your body by stretching the legs, back and arms. It bring balance to the mind, opens the hips and helps improve concentration. Do for 3mins each side a day for that power boost in your busy schedule. Avoid doing this posture if you are suffering from migraine, insomnia or low blood pressure. (those with high blood pressure may do this pose but without raising their hands overhead, as this may further raise their blood pressure).
