Founded with the blessing of " Maa ", Shree Shree Mata Anandamayee, and formally inaugurated in her divine presence by Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India, on December 26, 1968, the hospital is rendering services to the suffering humanity, irrespective of any distinction whatsoever, with perhaps the best possible frontage in the holy city of Varanasi, has already completed 42 years of its existence.
