I am Dr Anavadhya Sreekumar, Chief Ayurvedic physician of vedic ayurveda Chikilsalayam, Kakkanad.

Today I am going to speak about Arthritis.

In Ayurveda, we first observe about the Tridoshas .

The difficulties in Vatadosha are the main reason of Arthritis.

If a patient approaches with inflammations, swelling or Joint pain , we first need to observe his food and daily routine.

If we observe any interruptions in this cycle of vata increade , Then it needs to be corrected, first.

The next step is panchakarma therapy .

Treatments during Karkidaka like Rejuvenation and Detoxification with kizhi , uzhichil etc can be a great relief and Treatment for arthritis pain.

This treatment is a great help for The cervical spondylitis experienced by the IT professionals, these days.
