*Myx-o- MAA!*
_On the eve of Mother' s day ❤️ I'm sharing a touching case_ ...
My junior colleague's mother👩🏻 suddenly started having severe breathlessness and rapid heartbeats. She was quickly brought to the hospital. Ecg, Echo were done. Echo showed a huge TUMOUR inside the heart which was preventing the blood from flowing freely and choking the left upper chamber! This can result in a sudden cardiac arrest and the tumour bits can cause stroke as they travel all over the body.
This needs an early surgery. _We took her up and removed the large 5cm X 7cm mass from her heart. After this the chambers were sewn carefully and the heart started beating 💓 in it's normal rythym._
She went home in 6 days and is currently 4 years post surgery!
_This lovely drawing was her youngest son's creation.. lovely drawing and well worded too! The myxoma ( myx_o_MA) claims to be a child too, as it was a part of the mom's heart ❤️ and was closely attached to it!_
