🌿 Career Update 🌿

I’m delighted to share that I’ll be shifting my clinical practice to a new and more accessible location — RheumaCARE, Near Moksha Resto Café, Dasapalla Hills, Oota Gadda Road, Pandurangapuram, Visakhapatnam.

This move marks an exciting new chapter in my journey as I join RheumaCARE, a pioneering organization transforming the landscape of rheumatology care in India.

Today, RheumaCARE stands as India’s largest rheumatology network, continually expanding across the country to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to receive the specialised affordable care they need — and live pain-free.

While my address may be changing, my focus remains unchanged — to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and comprehensive care for all patients with arthritis and autoimmune diseases.

I remain deeply grateful for the trust and support of my patients, colleagues, and well-wishers who continue to inspire my work every day. 🙏

Looking forward to welcoming you all at the new space soon!

"On this Arthritis Day, let's remember that arthritis is not a disease but a symptom—an indicator of an underlying condition that can range from autoimmune disorders to metabolic issues. Early diagnosis and appropriate management can make all the difference in improving quality of life. Let's raise awareness, promote timely medical intervention, and empower those living with arthritis to lead pain-free, active lives."

Heel pain due to plantar fasciitis is indeed a common complaint in outpatient settings. While it often improves on its own, it can be persistent for many patients despite treatment. The natural history shows that:

Short-term outcomes: Up to 80% of patients may still experience symptoms after one year, even with interventions.
Long-term outcomes: At the 15-year mark, around 44% of patients may continue to have some heel pain, although it usually becomes less severe over time.
Management typically includes stretching exercises, orthotics, physical therapy, and sometimes corticosteroid injections, but the chronic nature of the condition can make it frustrating for both patients and physicians.
