Good posture doesn’t apply just to sitting and standing .Good sleeping posture helps your aching back and neck .The muscles and ligaments of your back and neck relax and heal themselves while you sleep.The position you sleep has direct impact on your spine.If your spine is not aligned properly during sleep,it can put a lot of stress or strain on your spine as well as on neck,shoulder and hips.
If you wake up in the morning and feel you have stuck somewhere,then you have to take a look at your sleep positions.
Here are some positions to reduce and prevent pain and stiffness of joints and muscles.

LIFTING POSTURE: Even if you don’t lift heavy objects often, you are still susceptible to an injury. You can strain your back lifting something as light as a screwdriver if you are not careful.
If you are lifting heavy objects repeatedly at work ; your back is more susceptible for an injury.
If you are lifting weights in a wrong way( specially at work)you are more likely to suffer from Muscle Injury.(Getting out of position during lifting can put a great deal of stress on the lower back muscles, and when the stress is too high on a muscle it can be injured.)

Your sitting posture throughout the day can have long term effects on your spine. You slouch into what you may think is a comfortable position at that time, but ideally you are slipping into a bad habit. As you continue that poor posture muscles of neck, back, lower back get tighten eventually they go into stiffness and weakness. eventually this imbalance leads to unequal stress bearing on the joints and spine which leads to pain and deformities.
