A 9 year old patient came in with pain during eating related to the upper right E (primary second molar).
- An X-ray was taken to check for the presence and eruption status of the permanent 2nd premolar. The image showed that the premolar is present but still needs time before eruption.
-To relieve pain and preserve the primary molar as a space maintainer, a pulpotomy was performed.
-This approach helps maintain arch space, reduces the risk of future crowding, and supports healthy eruption of the permanent tooth.
