UpSurgeOn is a cadaver-free simulation-based platform for psychomotor surgical skill enhancement using virtual and physical simulations.

It is currently focused on microsurgeries (neurosurgery, plastic surgery, ENT surgery, maxillofacial surgery, and spine surgery). The team is made up of Neurosurgeons, Residents, Medical Students, Digital Artists, Developers, Bioengineers, Graphic Designers, and Free-thinkers. UpSurgeOn was founded in 2017 by two neurosurgeons, Dr. Federico Nicolosi (Founder and CEO) and Dr. Giannantonio Spena (Co-founder), and is headquartered in Milan, Italy. UpSurgeOn has been supported by the EIC (European Innovation Council) through the Horizon 2020 program (grant n 880895).
