Aviano EDIS (Educational and Developmental Intervention Services)

Aviano EDIS (Educational and Developmental Intervention Services) Early Intervention Services from birth to 35 months. EDIS may be accessed in two ways. Referrals can come from medical professionals or families themselves.

Our goal in the Early Intervention Services is to support families in their efforts to support their children's growth, development, and learning. Families may be eligible for early intervention services if they have a child age birth to 35 months with a documented developmental delay or who has a diagnosed physical or mental condition which has a high probability of resulting in a developmental delay. All children who are referred to EDIS must receive a timely and an appropriate evaluation to determine eligibility for services.

Please check your emails for a message from our playgroup leader. Due to the popularity of this event we will be parading and having the Charlie Brown feast at both times. We are hoping some 10:30 friends might be able to join at the 9:30 group to help us even out numbers. Both groups will begin at the EDIS clinic on the Italian 1st floor of the medgroup. We are immensely grateful to have so many friends interested in this event 🥰🙏🏼

With the family day tomorrow, holiday on Tuesday, and ongoing challenges with staffing during the shutdown, we will be trialing using a sign up genius for playgroup signups this week

⚠️ Head over to the EDIS page **Monday at 12:00 (noon)** and look for the links to sign up for music class and fun with friends. ⚠️

Space is still limited. If you sign up and can then no longer attend, please update your rsvp so that others can sign up!
