How do we make olive oil?

If you haven't experienced olive harvesting you have no idea how much hard work is behind every drop of olive oil.

First, we have to prepare the ground and trees for the harvest process.

Then lay down the nets and move them along as we go.

The most difficult part of the job is to pick up olives with noisy and vibrating harvesting machines. My hands, neck, back and shoulders were very painful.

Afterwards, we move fallen olives into the boxes.

You have to harvest quickly as picked olives can be in the boxes maximum for two days for the best quality oil.

The last part is to drive olives to the local cold press machine.

Seeing OLIVE GOLD coming out of the tube is an incredibly joyful and satisfying moment.

Despite the hard work I am very grateful we had olives this year as last year there we none.

Drinking and eating fresh olive oil is a wonderful unique experience that nourishes your whole body.

God bless our and our neigbours' olives for the next year.

Imagine a world where nothing that harms the planet ( plants, animals, people) can be produced and sold.

Is it possible?
I would love to experience it.

I will hold this vision in mind the next time I feel overwhelmed by looking at toxic and harmful stuff we find in shops.

Our first pumpkin is here and Sammy is very proud of it. ❤️

Our veggie garden is a great experiment and gives us a lot of learning opportunities.
Not simple to look after it in a dry, hot and windy environment.

My neighbours bought the same plants and the difference in the outcome is enormous.
Next year I may do some things slightly differently. 😂

Finally bringing the Tree Children project to a local community with .

I know that this work is very much needed and am grateful that Chiara wants to bring it to her little customers.

Fingers crossed this will be a success and more children will experience joy and healing properties from quality time spent in nature.
